A New Restaurant Opened in Lansing
If you've driven along Michigan Avenue between the highway and Downtown Lansing, you may have noticed a few changes to the outside of the building for the old Tannin restaurant.
It was back in early November that we learned that a new restaurant was expected to open in this location. A tacos and more place called El Catrin. At that time, there was no word on when it would open.
However, now we have delicious news. El Catrin is now open!
El Catrin Taco Shop in Lansing Now Open
The fact that it open was first spotted on the Lansing Foodies page. The foodies are always looking out. And since it was open, I figured I'd try it out.
I ordered the birria tacos with beans and rice, the hubby got the burrito California, and we spit an order of elote. While everything was super yummy, the elote was definitely the best part of the meal.
Here's a look inside the restaurant, and of course, pics of our food.
There's plenty of seating inside if you want to sit and eat, but I opted for to-go, so just know that both options are available.
