New Hotel, Tavern, and Restaurant Opening Up in Ada Next Year
A new place to stay - and eat - is coming to Ada!
The Ada Hotel is under construction at 7415 River St.
According to Crain's Grand Rapids, the Devos-backed hotel will be three-stories, 37,000-square-feet, with 36 rooms.
CDV5 Properties is behind the project, and the new Ada Hotel will be operated by AHC hospitality.
CDV5 Properties CEO Loren Crandell tells Crain's Grand Rapids,
Ada has expanded into a really cool village vibe and community...The vision with the hotel was to create a place in the center of the village where out-of-town guests felt like they had a place to call home. When you put a hotel in, you start expanding your reach to community members outside of a drivable distance, so it will just be really cool to reach people outside of Ada.
The new hotel is on the site of the former Ada Hotel, which burned down in 1943.
The property will also include two restaurants.
Crain's Grand Rapids reports one is called the Post Tavern. The family friendly pub on the first floor will seat 110 people.
The other, The Rix Restaurant (named for Rix Robinson, a founder of Ada) is on the third floor and will seat 130 people. The Rix will have a terrace for outdoor seating.
The Ada Hotel is slated to open in Spring 2024.
