This Airline Just Pulled Its Services Out Of Michigan Airports
While air travel for many can be a daunting thought, it can also be a sign of freedom to others. Michigan has two big airports, the biggest being the Detroit Metropolitan Airport, the other being Gerald R. Ford International Airport.
There are tons of smaller airports spread out across the state of Michigan, including Lansing, Kalamazoo, Marquette and even Flint! The two major that service out of state flights tend to be Detroit or Grand Rapids, however, Lansing and Kalamazoo also welcome flights from around the country as well.

If you were thinking about flying out of Lansing or Kalamazoo, you may want to check and verify your airline is still there.
Avelo Airlines, a smaller airline was servicing the Lansing and Kalamazoo airports, offering non-stop flights to Florida. They are a discount airline, so the opportunity to fly out of a non-major airport such as the Capital Region International Airport and go to Florida was an amazing option, instead of heading to Detroit or Grand Rapids.
Avelo Airlines Could Make A Return to Lansing and Kalamazoo
Detroit at this point in time, is the only airport here in Michigan that Avelo will continue to offer services to. Lansing and Kalamazoo, unfortunately took the hit of losing the airline. However, Avelo is leaving their equipment in those areas...
