There are hundreds of children in Michigan in both the upper and lower peninsula who have been missing for many months and some, years. The never-ending search to find them is tasking and heart-wrenching, but as a community, we can come together and help locate these children and bring them home safely.

For some they may be lost due to nefarious reasons, for others, the pressures of life made them feel like running away would solve the pain, the families of these children are in pain and sickened every day not being able to talk to their loved ones.

Below is a large list compiled of children who have been missing in Michigan since July of 2023 as of January 5th, 2024. If you recognize any of these children, you're encouraged to contact authorities right away, and we've provided some resources below if you feel your child may be lost or missing.

What to do if your child is missing

  • Immediately call your local law enforcement agency.
  • After you have reported your child missing to law enforcement, call the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children at 1-800-THE-LOST® (1-800-843-5678).
  • Thoroughly search home for a missing child.
  • Provide law enforcement with your child’s name, date of birth, height, weight, and descriptions of any other unique identifiers such as eyeglasses and braces. Tell them when you noticed your child was missing and what clothing he or she was wearing
  • Request law enforcement authorities immediately enter your child’s name and identifying information into the FBI’s National Crime Information Center Missing Person File.
