
Here’s Where You’ll Find The Best Fireworks Displays This Weekend in West Michigan
It's almost the Fourth of July which means it's time to celebrate America's birthday with grill outs, family outings and Fireworks.
But maybe you're like me and you either a) don't want to shoot your own off or b) have a dog or family member who doesn't do well with them, you always have the option to check out one of the many Fireworks displays around West Michigan
So here are some of the top rated Fireworks displays in West Michigan worth checking out during the Holiday weekend, and on Tuesday the 4th of July
Grand Rapids
Saturday July 1st, from 5-11pm
Grand Rapids Independence Day fireworks is one of the biggest events of the year. Get ready to spread that blanket on the lawn at downtown’s Ah-Nab-Awen Park on the banks of the Grand River right next to the Gerald R. Ford Presidential Museum.
The fun begins in the early evening with children’s games and crafts, food and live music. After dark, you can wrap up your holiday with fireworks that will light up downtown.
Grand Haven
Saturday July 1st, 10pm
Make it a beach day with a wonderful night cap. Starting at 10pm on Saturday, you can watch a performance of one of the world's largest Musical Fountains in Grand Haven.
After you ooh and ahh, fireworks will explode overhead, lighting up all of Grand Haven’s waterfront.
South Haven
Monday, July 3rd at 9:30pm
It seems that all of Lake Michigan lights up for Independence Day, so why not check out the annual Light Up the Lake Festival.
Fireworks will be shot off the North Pier, and you can view the show from Riverfront Park or North & South Beaches. No matter where you're watching from, they'll be offering a radio feed of the music to go along with the show. You can also watch it online via their webcam.
Battle Creek
Thursday June 29th - July 4th
There’s plenty of reason to look up around Independence Day in Battle Creek, when dozens of airborne vehicles fill the sky. They kick off the celebrations on Thursday June 29th
The week-long holiday celebration features inflight aircraft demonstrations, and on July 4th the party wraps up with the roar of America’s largest air show and fireworks. If you want to see all of the events of the weekend, check out their schedule.
