Michigan Teen Wins $533K Lottery Jackpot on Way to Work

Most of the time it seems to be a sweet old man or woman who hit it big.

But recently a Michigan teen won $533,646 by playing the Double Win Wild Time Progressive Fast Cash Jackpot.

The anonymous 19 year old man from Lapeer County bought his winning ticket at Mobil X, in Almont which is about 40 miles east of Flint.

On a recent trip to Michigan Lottery headquarters in Lansing, the happy winner shared how he found out that he had won:

“I stopped and bought a Fast Cash ticket on my way to work and looked It over later that day, My mom has the Michigan Lottery app on her phone, so when I saw I’d won the jackpot, I had her scan the ticket to make sure it was real. We started screaming and jumping up and down when $533,646 came up on the scanner!”

So what is a 19 year old planning on doing with half a million dollars?

They plan on taking the winnings and putting it into savings.

This lucky Michigan teen isn't the only one to win big recently playing the Michigan Lottery.
