Amon-Ra St. Brown Trades Pigskin For Pizza In Detroit Showdown
Detroit Lions wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown has some incredible skills when it comes to using his hands to catch a football.

But those skills don't stop when he steps off the football field.
On Tuesday, St. Brown took part in a competition that saw him putting down the pigskin and pick up some pizza dough.
The St. Brown Pizza! Pizza! Showdown took place at the Little Caesars headquarters in Detroit.
The event consisted of several timed heats where contestants had to assemble a classic Pepperoni pizza from scratch.
The judges looked for speed, but more importantly, "Pizza Precision".
The Pepperoni Count: Little Caesars has a specific standard for the number and placement of pepperoni. St. Brown admitted this was the hardest part, specifically spacing them out correctly so they didn't overlap or leave gaps.
The "Sauce and Cheese" Ratio: Judges checked to make sure the sauce was spread evenly to the edges and the cheese was applied in the exact amount required.
Taking on the Lions star wide receiver was Dean Cole, a seventh-grade student at Detroit Achievement Academy and Detroit Prep, as well as Little Caesars CEO Dave Scrivano.

When the clock struck zero, a winner was announced and it was seventh-grader Dean Cole who was crowned pizza making champion.
Cole told WXYZ that he learned valuable lessons from the Little Caesars Pizza! Pizza! Showdown.
"What I learned was to have perseverance with everything that you do. Just try your best, like do everything to the best of your ability."
