Road Construction Starts Soon On Eighth Avenue In West Michigan
Since the beginning of time, Michigan roads have always been under construction.

Ok, I'm not sure if that is 100% true, but you don't have to travel very far to see an orange barrel or construction sign on Michigan roadways.
Soon a West Michigan county will be seeing orange construction barrels pop up as a big two-week construction project gets underway.
Starting on Monday July 28th Eighth Avenue between Lincoln Street and Leonard Street in Tallmadge Township will be closed.

What Is A Culvert
A culvert is a structure that allows water to flow from one side of an obstruction (like a road, railway, or embankment) to the other, typically by channeling it underneath.
Think of it as a bridge for water, but instead of vehicles or pedestrians going over the water, the water goes under the traffic.

If this is an area that you normally travel through, you can take a detour route on Lincoln Street to 14th Avenue and Leonard Street.
This construction project is expected to be completed by Friday, August 8th but that's not a guarantee.
Completion of this project is also dependent on the weather.
