But when November and December rolled around all the Halloween decorations were taken down, Phil The Werewolf was still standing.

Mary Simmons told an Ohio news station that after putting Phil The Werewolf up for Halloween she decided to keep him up year-round.

Mary felt that Phil The Werewolf was a good burglar deterrent, she told WKEF

“I kind of look at it as a security thing, Who wants to break into a house with a 9-and-a-half-foot werewolf sitting outside it? I mean, I know I wouldn’t.”
