What happens if no one claims the $842.4 million dollar Powerball ticket?

The person who purchased the winning ticket (or any winning lottery ticket) has until one year form the date in which the drawing happened to claim their prize. If they don't do so in time, the Powerball splits the money amongst all jurisdictions where people bought tickets.
