The lucky man or woman, who has yet to claim the big prize, bought a winning ticket for the Michigan Lottery's Lotto 47 jackpot at Bryan’s Market in North Branch, which is about 40 miles northeast of Flint.

When the winning numbers 17-25-34-37-39-42 were drawn, the jackpot was $3.98 million.

This big win is the first Lotto 47 jackpot of the year and comes just a few months after someone last won Lotto 47.

That drawing was worth a $32.91 million jackpot and the ticket was bought at Wild Bills Tobacco in Chesterfield.

That $32.91 million jackpot actually set the record for the largest Lotto 47 jackpot ever won.

If hearing about this big win has you interested in playing Lotto 47 works.

A player can buy a ticket for $1.

The players then select six numbers from one to 47 for a chance to win a jackpot starting at $1 million, which grows until someone wins it, like this past Saturday.

Whoever won Saturday night’s drawing should contact the Lottery’s Player Relations division at 844-917-6325 to set up an appointment to claim their prize.

Lotto 47 tickets are valid for one year from the date of the drawing.

After that, it’s just a piece of paper.

This Lotto 47 player isn't the only one to win big playing the Michigan Lottery.

Grand Blanc lottery club won a million dollars playing the Powerball.

A Kent County woman who went out to get some late night food stopped at a gas station and ended up buying a winning ticket worth a million dollars.
