Grammy Winner Jelly Roll Returning to Grand Rapids This Summer
One of the biggest names in music right now is headed to Grand Rapids this summer, and he’s doing it during the very first season of shows at the brand new Acrisure Amphitheater.
Jelly Roll announced this morning that he’s bringing his “Little Ass Shed Tour” to town on Saturday June 13th.The tour name is a spinoff from the massive Big Ass Stadium Tour that he’s currently on with Post Malone. And now he’s scaling it down (slightly) and bringing it to West Michigan.
He’s also bringing along rising country artist Kashus Culpepper will join him for the show, adding even more heat to a lineup that’s already shaping up to be one of the most talked-about during the inaugural season of this incredible venue.
And If you’ve followed Jelly Roll for a while, this is a great time to see him again. The last time he played Grand Rapids was back in 2022, when he co-headlined with Koe Wetzel at Van Andel Arena on November 19. That was a big show at the time.
But his career since then? Astronomical. And if you go back even further, before the country radio hits, the judge gig on Star Search, before the Grammy wins, and before the ‘big ass’ stadium tours, he was playing smaller sets at The Intersection when he was still focused on rap. That’s why this feels like a full-circle moment for long-time West Michigan fans.
We’ve watched the evolution in real time. From smaller club shows to arena stages to now a Grammy-winning, stadium-headlining artist coming back to play one of the most anticipated new venues in the city.
If you want to see the recent Grammy winner live this summer, tickets go on sale Friday, February 27 at 11am. You can grab them through the Acrisure website or directly at JELLYROLL615.COM.
The first season at the Acrisure Amphitheater keeps getting bigger. And if this lineup is any indication, we’re in for one unforgettable summer in downtown Grand Rapids.
