Introducing "Between the Buns" – a friendly competition with the intention of helping others that will be taking over Downtown Wayland this month. 11 fantastic local restaurants, are all vying for the title of the ultimate handheld food champion. From savory to sweet, there's something for every taste bud on this mouthwatering journey.

But here's the best part – YOU get to be the judge! Grab your friends, bring your appetites, and embark on a culinary adventure as you try as many sandwiches as your heart desires. Once you've had your fill, it's time to cast your vote for the sandwich that stole your taste buds.

For every sandwich that is sold during the competition, they will be donating $1 to the Hand to Hand program, which feeds children at 275+ schools across West Michigan, which is all the reason to participate before you remember all of the tasty sandwiches you'll get to try along the way.

The competition and voting will be sizzling hot until January 31st, giving you plenty of time to indulge in the flavors of Downtown Wayland. And trust me, with so many delectable options, choosing a favorite won't be easy. (You might have to try a couple of them twice, since it is for a good cause.)
