
Winter Adventures Await at Indian Trails in Grand Rapids
Winter finally gave us enough snow to work with, and Indian Trails Golf Course is wasting no time! The fairways have switched from golf carts to groomed trails. The course is once again inviting folks to get outside and enjoy some winter fun.

If you’re ready to shake off cabin fever without driving to a ski resort, head to Indian Trails Golf Course at 2776 Kalamazoo Ave SE in Grand Rapids.Trails are beginner-friendly, scenic, and perfect for a few hours of fresh air and exercise.

Winter Activities at Indian Trails Golf Course
Indian Trails is now open seven days a week (weather permitting) with the following winter activities:
- Cross-country skiing – Bring your own skis and hit the two-mile loop through the snow-covered course.
- Snowshoeing – Rent snowshoes at the pro shop and explore the same two-mile trail. Rentals are available for all ages and sizes, and a day pass is just $3, which includes the snowshoe rental if you need it.
- Fat tire biking – Take a 3.7-mile ride on groomed trails with a fat tire bike rental for $20, good for 90 minutes. Riders must be between 5’1″ and 6’4″.
If you already have your own gear, a season pass is $15 and lets you enjoy the trails anytime, even outside of pro shop hours. Rentals are first-come, first-served, so plan accordingly.

Pro Shop Winter Hours at Indian Trails Golf Course
The pro shop is also your spot for passes, rentals, or a hot drink (or a cold beer) after your adventure. Hours are:
- Monday: 11 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Tuesday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Wednesday: 12 p.m.–8 p.m.
- Thursday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Friday: 9 a.m.–5 p.m.
- Saturday: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.
- Sunday: 8 a.m.–4 p.m.
