I remember taking school field trips to the Longway Planetarium in Flint, Michigan. It was always a big deal to go and learn about the stars and planets. Lying back in the chair as the ceiling transformed into space. It's a pretty cool moment for a kid in elementary school.

As I got older, I learned from some of the older kids at school there was a Pink Floyd laser light show at the planetarium. As soon as I was old enough to drive, my buddy and me made the trip to see the show. We liked it so much, we went back to see the Led Zeppelin and AC/DC laser light shows.

These types of shows consisted of music being played over the sound system timed with laser lights and visuals on the ceiling. For that time, it was the coolest music and visual show a kid could go to, unless you had tickets to a real Pink Floyd concert.
