It's not any surprise to residents of Grand Rapids that we have bad roads, but it might be a bit of a surprise that we are in the top 10 for worst-maintained roads.

With 52% of our roads considered to be in poor condition, Grand Rapids snuck into the top 1o worst-maintained roads in the United States.  But of all of the cities in the top 10, Grand Rapids has the highest percent of roads in good condition with 37%.  The other 11% of roads are in mediocre to fair condition.

The top 10 cities with the worst-maintained roads are almost all from either the Midwest or California.  Let's check out the top 10.
