Grand Rapids Group Sends Water Filters to Hurricane Dorian Victims
A Grand Rapids-based group plans to bring 1,000 water filters to Hurricane Dorian victims with a goal of sending as many as 50,000 water filters.
Connect for Water is a non-profit "founded on the belief that there is a clear path to help people throughout the world address their safe water needs." They sent 150,000 water filters to Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria. Now, they are working with the Red Cross and others to deliver water filters to those impacted by Hurricane Dorian.
Thousands have been left without clean drinking water due to Hurricane Dorian. See how you can help the Grand Rapids-based non-profit and support this and future efforts to bring clean water to disaster areas and other places of need.
