
Grand Rapids Launches 40+ Affordable Fitness Classes This Fall
Michigan winters are rough, so it can be tempting to stay at home and hibernate. But if you're looking for ways to get out and get active this fall and winter, the City of Grand Rapids is once again offering affordable fitness classes.

City of Grand Rapids Nov. - Dec. 2025 Fitness Classes
This session, Grand Rapids Parks and Recreation Department is expanding its offerings with two new studio spaces, more class times, and return of fan-favorite specialty classes like Fireside Yoga.

The new home of the Parks and Rec department at 1500 Scribner Ave NW. will host many of the upcoming sessions.
There are over forty classes available, for people of all abilities, including:
- Line Dancing
- Rowing
- Zumba
- Cycling
- Water Aerobics
- Barre
- Kettleball AMPD
- Pilates
- Pound
- Werq
- Gentle Musical Movement
- Strength, Core, and Balance

Sign Up for Affordable Fitness Classes in Grand Rapids
Classes begin the first or second week of November, usually meet once a week, and run through the third or fourth week of November. Session prices range from $20 to $35.
