Grand Rapids Cemetary Posts Sign Asking Pokemon Go Players to Stay Out
Graceland Cemetery in Grand Rapids Township is asking Pokemon Go players to show respect and play elsewhere.
Wood TV 8 reports that the cemetery, located on Cascade Road SE near I-96 posted a sign addressed to Pokemon Go players.
The sign reads:
Out of respect for those interred in this cemetery, we require the highest level of respect from our visitors. Anyone violating this respect, including playing of games, will be asked to leave and risk prosecution."
Workers at the cemetery told Wood TV 8 that while there have not been problems at the Grand Rapids facility, there have been issues at their facilities in Detroit. As a result, the company that owns the cemeteries then mandated that the signs be put up at all facilities.
