It can be easy to get lost in the big-picture stuff, so this month, Grand Rapids is taking a minute to spotlight some of the good happening on your street by participating in National Good Neighbor Day. If a neighbor has made your year easier and you would like them recognized, now's your chance to let them know.

Submitting a story of your "Good Neighbor" moment can be done HERE; if your story is chosen, King Hearts Bloom will surprise "the selected neighbor with a handcrafted bouquet", along with the story explaining why they were selected. Entries can be anonymous and must be submitted by September 25th.

It's a low-stakes way to engage with your community. If you're like me and don't personally know your neighbors, this could be a great way to open that door with a kind gesture.
