No one loves the cold quite like Canada does!

Canadian Tire is an automotive company based in Canada which set out to test its newest cold weather battery by installing it into a truck made completely out of ice.

Perfectly carved blocks of frozen water were placed around a working motor and a battery frozen to -40 degrees Fahrenheit.

They then successfully drove it a little more than a kilometer (about five eighths of a mile) down the road.

Needless to say, there are few places in the world where the weather would permit this and fewer places where the people would actually try it.

Leave it to the Great White North to create a mechanical masterpiece out of the stuff that causes most of us to raid the nearest Wal-Mart and stay inside.

Pretty cool, eh?
