Weirdo Dyes Chickens Pink to 'Make People Smile' [Video]

The great Portland, Ore., pink chicken mystery has been solved!

Last week, Multnomah County's animal shelter picked up a couple of chickens that were wandering around the South Waterfront in Portland.

The weird part: the chickens had been dyed pink -- and no one knew where they came from.

After the chickens ended up on the local nightly news, the weirdo who did it came forward and claimed them, Portland's KPTV-TV Fox 12 reported.

He told KPTV-TV the reason he did it was because he wanted to "make people smile" and get their day off to a good start.
