A New York pedestrian was struck and injured by a runaway, massive buzzsaw blade on Wednesday!

A construction crew was tearing up the road to fix a water main in Midtown Manhattan when the blade flew off the saw and screamed down the road, striking a woman and cutting her leg. She was taken to the hospital for her injuries.

If you watch the news clip below, there's surveillance video from a nearby store that shows the incident. However, the blade was moving so fast that it's nearly impossible to see.

So, this is pretty much the thing that nightmares are made of.
