Free Beer & Hot Wings: Guy Attempts to Run From Miami to Bermuda In Inflatable Bubble, Fails [Video]
Reza Baluchi is an endurance runner.
However, he must have figured that running long distances the old-fashioned way was boring, so he wanted to amp it up a bit.
Baluchi decided he would "run" 1,000 miles from Miami to Bermuda in a hydropod, which is essentially a floating hamster wheel.
He was equipped with protein bars, bottled water, GPS and a satellite phone.
But after just three days, he had to call on the U.S. Coast Guard to rescue him 70 nautical miles off the coast of St. Augustine, Fla., ABC News reported.
It seems like he's got a little more training to do.
