Free Beer & Hot Wings: Gamers Robbed at Gunpoint While Waiting to Buy New Video Game (Video)

The lines between video game life and real life were a bit too blurry for these kids in Houston who were waiting outside of a GameStop for a midnight release of the new Grand Theft Auto V game, KHOU-TV reported.

As they were waiting in line, they were approached by three men wearing hoodies and were held up at gunpoint. The robbers also took money from the store's cash register. One of the robbers was also carrying a Taser and zapped one of the customers on the way out the door.

Although the clerk was able to place a tracking device in the bag of money, the robbers ditched the bag a few blocks away and have not been caught. The one person who was Tasered was taken to the hospital.
