Free Beer & Hot Wings: Bill Cosby Declines to Discuss Sexual Misconduct Allegations [Audio]
Ever since a video of comedian Hannibal Buress went viral last month where he called Bill Cosby a rapist during a show in Philadelphia, Cosby has been canceling appearances left and right.
These allegations have been around for years, including one that did not go to trial and led to a settlement in 2006.
New allegations have surfaced in recent weeks by Barbara Bowman, who claims she was brainwashed and drugged then raped by Cosby in 1985 when she was 17 years old.
In an NPR interview that aired on "Weekend Edition Saturday," host Scott Simon was interviewing Cosby and his wife, Camille, to discuss their 62 pieces of African Art on loan for a National Museum of African Art exhibition in Washington, D.C.
But when Simon turned the line of questioning to the recent sexual assault allegations, Cosby refused to comment. In fact, he refused to speak at all!
Listen to the awkwardness below. It starts at the 3-minute, 30-second mark.
