No one likes a bee sting. Multiple bee sings would really suck. Now multiply that by about a couple hundred thousand and you're in for a bad day.
Eric "Critter" McCool of McCool's Wildlife Control & Bee Extractions in Summerville, SC got a call last week about a "small" infestation in someone's pop-up camper. Critter estimated that he extracted 400,000 bees from the camper over a seven hour period, including 37 queens! The hive was so massive that pesticides would have done nothing to combat it. Thus, he had to disassemble the hive by hand. McCool says that he thinks it may be the biggest hive in the country, but that may be hard to prove, since few people are willing to keep records of such dangerous infestations.
Now that's a MAN!
