There's nothing inherently interesting about a high school track and field meet.

No offense, but running around a track is just kind of boring. And most of the people competing in the track meet would probably agree. This is not to say it's not impressive; it's just boring.

So the fact that we are posting a video from a high school track meet means something much more interesting than the event happened.

Watch as these runners come down the final stretch of a 400-meter race.

Two officials attempt to pull the finish-line tape across the track, but one drops her end. Then, she makes a tragic mistake and attempts to pick it up. A massive collision ensues.
