Forbes reported in September that approximately 30 are company-owned and 40 are franchised.

Samuel Nichols, the Baton Collective director of business operations, tells Wood TV 8 the group like the Foxtail's focus on great coffee and community:
The spaces that we are putting Foxtail Coffee are built to be community meeting centers and hubs. We want them to be very comfortable spaces for everyone. We want people to feel free to stick around, to have a good conversation.
One of the new Foxtail Coffee cafes is currently under construction at 325 84th St. SW off of US-131 in Byron Township. According to Wood TV 8, it will open the first week of December.
