Zurlon Tipton, who was a star running back at Central Michigan University from 2010 to 2013, is dead after he accidentally shot himself earlier today while moving a bag containing two guns. He was just 26 years old.

According to Deadspin, Tipton was at a Roseville, Michigan car dealership when he grabbed a bag from his trunk that contained two guns. One of the guns fired, hitting Tipton in the stomach, killing him.

Tipton's biggest season for the Chippewas was in 2012, when he rushed for 1,492 yards at 19 touchdowns.

The running back went undrafted in 2014, but eventually signed with the Indianapolis Colts. He spent two seasons in Indianapolis, where he played in 16 games.
