As things start to feel more normal and open back up, some of our favorite West Michigan events are back this summer, and new ones are popping up: Like WeDiscover Festival coming to Downtown Muskegon and the beachfront of Lake Michigan July 2-4, 2021.

Event organizers describe WeDiscover Festival as "a culmination of forward thinking producers, creators, and innovators that explore hidden-gem locations and fuse this with global entertainment and headliner talent."

The City of Muskegon, Luxury Rally Club (LRC), and Hot Import Nights (HIN) have worked together to make WeDiscover Festival happen in Muskegon.

Kathryn Miclat, Vice President of Global Operations for HIN said in a release,

We’re ecstatic to bring WeDiscover Festival to Muskegon, MI and couldn’t ask for a better backdrop. Hot Import Nights has traveled and produced events across the globe and Muskegon truly is a world class venue. We can’t wait to unveil some amazing vehicle builds, showcase headliner talent, and create unique digital content for millions to enjoy all while in a fun festival environment! This is definitely going to be one of our best stops yet.

Here's the schedule for WeDiscover '21 according to

Friday July 2 -3 pm to 10p.m.

Saturday July 3 -Noon to 11 p.m., with fireworks at 10:25 p.m.

Sunday July 4- 11 a.m to 3 p.m.

According to event organizers, the downtown Muskegon corridor of Western Avenue will be blocked off between First and Seventh Streets to allow for multiple stage and exotic cars on display.

Frank Peterson, Muskegon City Manager. said in a release,

This is a great event that focuses on people, sustainability that highlights Muskegon’s beautiful landscape. We are excited to host an event that allows new people to enjoy the City, but also for our community to discover something new, at no cost.

Yes-- the WeDiscover Festival is free to attend and proceeds from the event will go to the boys and girls club of Muskegon.
