The Detroit Tigers Helped Break The News About Taylor Swift’s Newest Album
For Swifties, there will be only a few of you out there who will be surprised by what I'm about to say. At 12:12 A.M. this morning, Taylor Swift posted on Instagram a clip of her appearing with Jason Kelce and her boyfriend, Travis Kelce. In the clip, she reveals she had a surprise for Jason (and a surprise for all of us who have been eagerly waiting to hear what was coming next from T Swift).
The surprise? A new album, her 12th, titled "The Life of a Showgirl".
Leading up to last night's announcement, people were going crazy online trying to guess what she was doing after her Instagram accounts suddenly changed. Fans have been speculating about whether her next project would be a release of Reputation (Taylor's Version) or something completely new.

One of those speculators turned out to be the Detroit Tigers' broadcast Reporter, Daniella Bruce, who was keeping viewers entertained during a rain delay against the Chicago White Sox.
The clip starts with Daniella stating she "has a Taylor update", with the two other commentators, Andy Dirks (who gives one of the best deadpans I've ever seen) and Jason Benetti, begrudgingly agreeing to allow Daniella to share it, considering there isn't anything else going on.
Daniella goes on to share that her friend let her know that Taylor was supposedly going to be appearing on the New Heights podcast to reveal the album, a statement that ended up being true. So, did Daniella Bruce technically break the news about Taylor's album before anyone else? Not exactly, but her "torturing" her co-hosts with Swiftie talk was pretty entertaining.
