A Michigan-based pizza chain recently opened its first location in town at 777 Washington Avenue, giving locals another option for lunch, dinner, or a snack after a night out.

Holland's Cottage Inn Pizza Now Open

That chain is Cottage Inn Pizza, a longtime Michigan favorite that has been serving pizza since 1948.

The Holland restaurant celebrated its grand opening March 9.

Menu Highlights and Late-Night Options

It's owned by Oscar Escobar and offers signature pies, from New York-style to deep dish.

You'll also find wings, subs, salads, pasta, calzones, breadsticks, and more. Escobar says everything is made fresh daily, and there are options for dine-in, carryout, or delivery for those nights you’d rather stay home.

Cottage Inn’s Michigan History and Expansion

Cottage Inn has grown from its roots in Ann Arbor into a regional staple, with more than 60 locations across Michigan and Ohio. Last fall, the chain opened a restaurant downtown Grand Rapids.

The new restaurant in Holland is open Sunday through Thursday 10 a.m. to midnight, Friday and Saturday 10 a.m. until 1 a.m.

According to the Holland Sentinel, Escobar, who actually worked his first job at Cottage Inn Pizza in Ann Arbor, is planning to open a Muskegon location soon too.
