New Mexican-American Fusion Restaurant Finally Opens in Holland
After nearly two years, more than $850,000 in renovations, and lots of “any updates?” posts in neighborhood Facebook groups, it is finally time.

Tulip City Bar and Grill Opens in Holland
Tulip City Bar & Grill is officially open as of Feb. 20, at 430 W. 17th St., Suite 27 in Holland. The new restaurant is taking over the former Tulip City Brewstillery space.
The spot originally opened in 2019 under owner Rick Moralez, but since has been sold to father-and-son team Carlos Mendoza and Carlos Mendoza Jr. According to the Holland Sentinel, the pair expanded the space from about 5,500 to 8,500 square feet and shifted the focus from in-house brewing to a full-service restaurant experience.
