How One Guest Ended Up Banned From Cedar Point
Cedar Point, known as the “Roller Coaster Capital of the World,” recently issued a lifetime ban to a guest from both Cedar Point and Six Flags. Here’s what led to the decision.
Reasons Someone Could Be Banned From Cedar Point and Six Flags
For many Michigan families, making the trip to Sandusky, Ohio, for an annual visit to Cedar Point has become a cherished tradition. Located just a few hours away, “America’s Roller Coast,” home to 18 roller coasters, has long been a convenient and exciting getaway for Michiganders.
Visitors who make Cedar Point a tradition knows the last thing they would want is to get banned from the park. Here are some of the actions and behaviors that could result in a permanent ban:
- Using a phone or camera on a ride: Cedar Point strictly enforces its no-phone and no-camera policy on rides and roller coasters. Filming, taking photos, or even pulling your phone out during a ride can result in you being immediately escorted out of the park with no second chances or refunds issued..
- Performing unauthorized stunts: Attempting dangerous stunts or intentionally violating ride safety rules, especially while recording for social media or videos, can lead to a lifetime ban from the park.
- Fighting or physical aggression: Any form of fighting, physical violence, verbal threats, assault, or behavior that incites a confrontation can quickly result in removal from the park and potentially a permanent ban.
- Possessing prohibited items: Attempting to bring prohibited items such as firearms, ammunition, knives, or other weapons through park security is taken extremely seriously and can result in immediate removal and a permanent ban.
- Entering restricted areas: Accessing “Danger Zones,” behind-the-scenes locations, or any restricted ride or operational areas is considered trespassing and can result in removal from the park and a potential permanent ban.
- Harassment or inappropriate behavior: Sexual misconduct, lewd acts, threatening behavior toward other guests or park associates, or wearing clothing with highly offensive language or graphics can all result in immediate removal from the park and possible permanent banning.
- Severe intoxication: Being publicly intoxicated or impaired by alcohol or other substances to the point of disruptive or unsafe behavior can lead to removal from the park and possible banning.

Man Banned From Cedar Point and All Six Flags Locations
According to WOOD TV 8, content creator Allen Ferrell has millions of followers across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. In a video, Ferrell hid 10 chicken nuggets with dipping sauce in his pants and then tried to eat them while riding Cedar Point’s Millennium Force roller coaster. By the time the ride ended, he had managed to eat only seven.
After the video gained hundreds of thousands of views across Ferrell’s social media platforms, many viewers pointed out that eating on amusement park rides violates safety protocols and could pose a choking hazard.

Following the video’s circulation, Cedar Point and Six Flags reviewed the incident and concluded that Ferrell had violated their safety rules, resulting in a lifetime ban from all of their park locations.
