Green Day is hitting the road to support their new album Revolution Radio, and have listed a bunch of dates on their website, including a show at the Fillmore in Detroit on September 24th! Better news, WGRD has FREE tickets to give you for the show!

Skillet's new album Unleashed hits stores tomorrow, and tickets to their October 6th show at the Intersection go on sale tomorrow as well. To celebrate, check out this great performance of their hit "Monster", live from WGRD on Monday! They visited us to play for a bunch of winners, and celebrate their new music.

Tonight at the Stache at the Intersection, there's a FREE show happening with Dorothy! What's better than free? Before the show, the band stopped by WGRD to talk about their band, the tours, and the new album, Rock Is Dead. They also played a couple songs for us, acoustic style.

On Friday, a great band from Detroit, Citizen Zero, came to visit GRD and play some of their songs acoustic for a bunch of winners. We got a bunch of people in to meet the band, and check out their acoustic performance.

Friday night was the return of Alter Bridge to Grand Rapids, as they get ready to release their new album, The Last Hero, which will come out on October 7th! The last time I got to see Alter Bridge was at Rock on the Range a couple years ago, and this show was definitely better!

Today on Segment 16, the guys talk to Phil of Wayland about their upcoming shows, funny road stories, Nickelback money, the new bus driver, and more! Phil's a funny guy!

On Monday, the awesome people in Sick Puppies stopped by GRD to play some songs acoustic for GRD winners and staff. It was really cool to hear them stripped down like this, and we all had a great time! They hung out and had fun with everyone for a while, took photos, signed stuff.
