Santana is currently on their Blessings and Miracles Tour which is set to last all the way until November 13, 2022.

There was recent talk of Satana touring with Journey in 2023. Journey guitarist Neal Schon was actually 15 years old and a member of Santana when they performed at Woodstock. This would be the first time the pair has toured together since Santana's early days.

Santana made a stop on the Blessing and Miracles Tour at Pine Knob Music Theatre in Clarkston, Michigan, Tuesday, July 5, 2022. Pine Knob is very familiar to Carlos who has performed there several times throughout his career. I actually worked security at one of those many performances and was blown away at how great Santana and his band performed.

When touring in the summer months it can be hot and grueling for any performer at any age but when you are 74 years of age it can be even more difficult.

Carlos was taken to the emergency room at McLaren Hospital in Clarkston where it was determined he was over-taken by heat exhaustion and dehydration. Carlos waved to the fans as he was being taken off the stage.

Santana has postponed their next show for July 6 at The Pavilion at Star Lake in Burgettstown, Pennsylvania. No word yet if Santana will do a make-good on the Pine Knob show. At this point, it's all about making sure Carlos is good and healthy.
