A garbage truck fueled by natural gas exploded last week in New Jersey. Even though the smell of burning trash must have been awful, the explosion is really, really cool.

According to the New York Post, the truck began billowing smoke, and when the two garbagemen saw smoke enter the cab, they immediately evacuated. In the video, the smoke soon turns to flames, which eventually erupt in a huge, fiery explosion.

Garbage and debris flew everywhere, like shrapnel, and one of the gas tanks reportedly blew a hole in a nearby roof.

Authorities still haven't determined the cause of the fire (and subsequent explosion). Luckily, no one was injured during the blast, although several nearby homes were severely damaged.
