Rob Wahl, co-owner of the Win Tavern in Jenison, is behind the new pub and restaurant. Wahl grew up in Detroit and he aims to blend his passion for Detroit sports and its iconic food scene with the vibrant culture of Grand Rapids.

Wahl told Crain's Grand Rapids,
When I drive to Detroit, I feel nostalgic, but it's not my home; Grand Rapids is my home. It's bringing both things together.
The bar at 600 Bridge Street is full of Detroit sports memorabilia, including a highway exit sign for the old Tigers Stadium.
