Friday night, a tipster led police to a buried body, which they believe could be that of Bobbie Maples, a Muskegon County woman missing since December 2014.

MLive reports tate law enforcement officials discovered the body Friday night and left it mostly undisturbed as they awaited the arrival of the Michigan State Police Crime Lab.

Police do not yet know when a positive identification will be able to be made.

32-year-old Maples went missing after leaving her home in Roosevelt Park on December 15, 2014, less than two weeks after giving birth to her daughter. She was actually on her way to see her daughter who was still in the hospital.

Police have a prime suspect in her disappearance. That suspect is currently in jail on other charges.

The body was discovered on private property in Fruitland Township.

Maples' name is in the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System. A "Help Find Bobbie Maples" Facebook page was also set up after her disappearance.
