While there are classic flavors like chocolate and vanilla, there are others, like Blue Moon, that no one is quite sure what they actually taste like, but it is still a signature flavor among Michiganders.

Earlier this month, a thread appeared on the r/Michigan subreddit by a user asking people to list their favorite ice cream shops, and it blew up. With over 1,000 upvotes and 1,000 comments, people had plenty of places they wanted to spotlights and lots of things to say about other spots, some good, some bad.
