As many of you might know, I am a crazy runner.

When I talk about my running endeavors, many people act like I am crazy. But the truth is it's just like those of you who maybe played soccer from when you were 4 years old, or started football back in the rocket football days and still play occasionally today.

I started running when I was 9 years old, doing just 1 mile fun-run races. Then, my first 5k was in sixth grade.  I have been running ever since, including my time as a varsity athlete at Ferris State University.

That said, it does not compare to this couple I came across today!

Meet Janette Murray-Wakelin and Alan Murray, a couple in their mid-sixties who took on a challenge to run a marathon every day of 2013.

Running a marathon is 26.2 miles.  Their goal was to complete one every single day last year.

This challenge seems insane to me, but they managed to finish the feat!

That's roughly 9,000 miles! THEY RAN 9,000 MILES IN A YEAR!

This couple is crazy, but I think I love them
