Have A Drink At The Grand Rapids Public Museum “After Dark”
When we were in elementary school, one of the most popular class field trips was to go to the museum. The planetarium was always a standout to me as a kid and is one of the reasons why space is one of my favorite things to this day. I still love going to the museum (the Poison exhibit was super interesting), but I'm surprised when people give me a look when I say that.
Why did these trips have to stop when you got older? The Grand Rapids Public Museum is a place for people of all ages to attend, and with this new event, the Museum is inviting you back for a museum trip just for adults.
Museum Adventure After Dark
On Wednesday, May 1st from 6 pm to 9 pm, The Grand Rapids Public Museum is inviting adults 21+ who may not have been to the museum in a long time or haven't been to the museum for themselves (without the kiddos) to come and enjoy the museum and planetarium in a first-of-its-kind event: Museum Adventure After Dark.
What makes this event 21+? Well, that would be the specially curated bar, sponsored by New Holland Brewing. On top of the current exhibits, Mandela: The Official Exhibition and Fashion and Nature, and the usual exhibits, the planetarium will also be open and there will be an appetizer menu of elevated camp food favorites.
If you're interested in going, you can purchase tickets here. All tickets include a drink ticket and appetizers.
