Adult Night Out At John Ball Zoo Planned
How does a glass of red wine and a gaze at a red Panda sound? John Ball Zoo has scheduled events for their "Adult Night Out". The summer series will begin with the first event scheduled for Thursday, June 10.
If you're 21 and older, the Adult Night Out gives you the opportunity to enjoy the zoo and animals with out any children around. Zoo officials say there will be select animal encounters for guests to enjoy, along with beer and wine selections. These evenings are a perfect date night, a chance to network with your colleagues or to enjoy a friends’ night out.
Two Guys Brewing will be offering a specialty brew plus there will be food options throughout the zoo. A BBQ-themed menu will be offered at the zoo’s Monkey Island Café on June 10, for example.
Adults Night Out is scheduled for June 24, July 15 and 29 and Aug. 12 and 26, each from 6 to 9 p.m. The zoo offers four times to enter at 6, 6:15, 6:30 and 6:45 p.m. Tickets at $18 for members and $20 for non-members. You can purchase tickets here. Capacity is limited, so the zoo highly recommends reserving tickets ahead of time. These events take place rain or shine. Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable.
The zoo recommends giving yourself two to three hours to see most of the Zoo. They say the animals are most active early in the morning and right before the zoo closes. This means you can have a great opportunity with Adults Night Out to see some active animals.
