A Michigan Restaurant Will Be Featured On A Food Network Show This Weekend
TV Personality and overall beloved human, Guy Fieri is no stranger to Michigan. He's brought his iconic TV show "Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives" all over the state to brag about the incredible food that can be found in the mitten.
Some of the restaurants that have been featured in the past include:
Traffic Jam & Snug located at 511 West Canfield Street in Detroit
The Fly Trap: A Finer Diner, located at 22950 Woodward Avenue in Ferndale
and of course the dearly departed
Rosie's Diner, located at 450014 Mile Road Northeast in Rockford
And while many other amazing hole in the wall establishments have made Guy's show, one Lansing restaurant is being featured for a second time with tonight's episode of Triple D Nation. (Friday, April 8th)
Zaytoon Mediterranean Grill
Located at 940 Elmwood Rd in Lansing
With a healthy 4.6 star rating on Google, this authentic Mediterranean Grill is a Lansing favorite, with a full menu including salads, amazing shawarma, and you can't go wrong with baklava for dessert.
This isn't their first trip to Zaytoon, in fact the restaurant was featured on a full episode of Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives a few years ago.
Their description may give us an idea of what the episode will feature
For a taste of Mediterranean classics done right head to Zaytoon where a Michigan native with Middle Eastern roots is serving up amazing chicken shawarmas with luscious garlic sauce and super-legit lamb grape leaves served with creamy hummus.
They also say that the Chicken Shawarma and Grape Leaves are the dishes they recommend, so we can probably assume they'll be featured in tonight's episode as well.
If you want to watch it yourself, Zaytoon's segment will air at 9pm EST on Triple D Nation, and will later be available for streaming.
And if you'd like to taste their amazing food in person, they have two locations in the Lansing area, and you can check out their website here.
