In probably the first time in its history, the Ford-Wyoming Drive-In claimed the top spot in box-office revenue in the entire nation.

According to the Deadline, the Ford-Wyoming Drive-In took the top spot in box office revenue for the weekend of June 19th, 20th, and 21st with $127,300 in box-office business.  Also reported by Deadline, was the 1993 classic Jurassic Park earning the #1 grossing movie in America.

The Ford-Wyoming Drive-In is the largest drive-in in the nation, boasting 9 screens and a 2,500 car capacity, so it makes sense why it would bring in the most revenue among the other theaters that are open.

Indoor movie theaters remain closed across most of the country, so the historic Dearborn Drive-In might continue to top the box office report.
