The 10th installment 70,000 Tons of Metal cruise will set sail from Fort Lauderdale, Fla. on Jan. 7 of 2020 and the ocean-faring festival has just unveiled the first 10 bands of what will ultimately be a 60-band lineup.

The first wave of bands features some exclusives, such as Epica and Moonsorrow performing entire albums — Design Your Universe and Verisäkeet, respectively — in full. Meanwhile, Wintersun, who only played a total of 10 shows in 2019, will be on deck for their only performance of 2020.

The lineup thus far boasts:

Candlemass
Einherjer
Emperor
Epica (playing Design Your Universe in full)
Haggard
Leaves' Eyes
Moonsorrrow (playing Verisäkeet in full)
Origin
Venom
Wintersun (only 2020 show)

This year, 70,000 Tons of Metal will be voyaging to Cozumel, Mexico, the original cruise destination when the festival launched in 2009. Since that inaugural year, the ship has been upgraded to the 154,000 ton-plus luxury cruise ship, the Independence of the Seas, which will host 120 total performances between Jan. 7 and Jan. 11.

Only 3,000 tickets will be available and they go on sale starting Oct. 26 at 12PM ET. For more information, head to the 70,000 Tons of Metal website. Tickets start at $833, which includes on-board accommodation, unrestricted access to all shows, meals and special events including meet-and-greets with all bands on board. There are no VIP packages for the cruise, meaning each fan has access to all the same perks.
