Boys and Girls Clubs of America
The Boys and Girls Clubs of America don't just do one thing, they do whatever it takes to build great futures for America's young people.
Local chapters of the Boys and Girls Club, like the one in Muskegon, provide voluntary after-school programs for young people.
The Boys and Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore is one of over 4,300 locations that are around the United States, Puerto Rico, the US Virgin Islands, and worldwide American military bases. These clubs were originally started to help keep at-risk youth off the streets but are now providing entertainment, assistance, and guidance to young people in a variety of areas. This is why it is so shocking to learn some individuals tried to burn down the Muskegon location.
$20,000 Reward for Infor Leading to Arrest of Those Involved in Muskegon Arson
It is so unfortunate that the Boys and Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore had to cancel their community open house that was scheduled for Thursday, August 24, 2023, because of a fire that was set back on August 12.
According to the Boys and Girls Club of the Muskegon Lakeshore, the fire occurred in the early hours of August 12. The City of Muskegon Fire Department is still investigating the arson and now there is a $20,000 reward for information that leads to an arrest and/or prosecution of the subject(s) who were involved with starting these fires.
