The Grand Rapids Griffins host the Rockford IceHogs on Friday. It’s a Friday night game, so that means $2 beers and $2 hot dogs!

The Detroit Pistons present the Grand Rapids Drive this weekend. On Friday they take on the Wisconsin Herd. Saturday’s game is against the Canton Charge. Doors open at 6 pm with tip-off at 7 pm.

Come out and see real sled dogs! Tun-Dra Kennels owners will talk about sled dogs, mushing equipment and the Iditarod. Families can meet the dogs and watch a demonstration outside, weather permitting. The Sled Dogs will be at the Alpine Township Branch from 10-11 am and at the Kentwood Branch from 2-3 pm.

Cost: $3 for members and $6 for non-members. $5 for snowshoe rental per person for non-members. Members receive complimentary snowshoe rentals.
Bring your whole family out to “test-drive” a pair of snowshoes! While practicing your snowshoe skills, hike along with a naturalist to discover the secret world hidden within the Winter Wonderland at Blandford Nature Center.

Lace up Greasers as 20 Monroe Live transforms into a historical mash-up of The Frosty Palace (Grease), Arnold's (Happy Days) and The Pizza Bowl (Laverne & Shirley). Nine Mile Smile will be returning to perform the Grease Soundtrack in its entirety! In honor of the 9th year of Juice Ball, they will not only be celebrating Chef Tommy Fitzgerald's birthday but also his Cool non-profit, Kitchen Sage. Guests are encouraged to dress for the theme, but not required.

During Artprize 9, Grand Rapids' own Ice Sculptures Ltd. set up multiple game tables made entirely of ice in the Grand Rapids Brewing Company game room. The Travel Channel stopped by to film a segment for their "Best of Ice" TV special. That special airs this Sunday at 10 pm and GRBC is hosting a WatchParty with happy hour drink and food specials from 9 pm-close.
