The West Michigan VITA Collegiate Partnership provides free income tax preparation for low to middle-income households. The IRS-sponsored VITA (Volunteer Income Tax Assistance) program partners with community groups to help families, seniors, and the disabled e-file their tax returns. Every year millions of dollars in tax refunds and credits go unclaimed by those who need them the most. We wish to help West Michigan families receive the tax refunds and credits that enable them to stay in their homes, feed their families, keep the lights on, and save for the future. Volunteers have been IRS-certified. This year’s income limits are: $27,000 for individuals and $57,000 for families. See website to schedule appointment.
